Skatepark Rules
You may not like ‘em but we gotta have ‘em. It’s a FREE park, so follow the rules and have a good time!
Helmets are required for all users ages 16 years and younger, per Massachusetts law.
(M.G.L. 85 Section 11, as amended by Chapter 330 of the Acts of 2004)
The facility was constructed with funds raised by the community, and it is your responsibility to keep the park safe, clean, and friendly. Please take care of it!
Use at your own risk. Only skateboards and in-line skates are allowed. No bicycles, roller skates, motorized vehicles or scooters allowed. No additional obstacles or other materials (ramps/jumps) may be used at the park. Skating outside of the park is not allowed. Please wait patiently for your turn to use the park.
Children 10 & under must be accompanied by an adult.
Park Hours: As stated on park signs
Have FUN! This park was built and designed for your enjoyment. Know your abilities and stay within them while using the park.
Be respectful of other skaters and of others using the school property.
Avoid user conflicts: moderate your language – no vulgarity (swearing).
Problems of inappropriate conduct will result in police notification or expulsion from the park.
The skate park has different levels of ability for the new skater to the pro. Make sure that before trying an element in the park that is difficult to ride that you are fully aware of the possible difficulties of that element and realize the risks that may be involved.
No alcohol, tobacco products, drugs, and glass containers are allowed at the park.
Please do not litter. Please use the trash containers provided.
